
Escape to Tranquility Yoga Retreat
South West of France.

We would like to welcome you to our very relaxing yoga retreat centre at Gites de Source, located in a beautiful region in the South West of France.
This retreat will be facilitated by husband and wife team Claude and Linda.
All the yoga classes will be instructed by Linda who is a 500+hour yoga alliance certified instructor who has been practising yoga for almost 30 years and teaching regular classes since 2017 at Primal Health Yoga
The yoga classes on this retreat will be a varied mix of Vinyasa flow, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
The classes will be offered at all levels with adjustments suitable for all needs. Beginners are most welcome and will be guided and supported throughout.
This retreat will be small, with a maximum of 9 participants. Come on your own or come with a friend or family member. We have private double rooms for single or double occupancy with private ensuites as well as twin rooms suitable for 2 sharing.
Although we are located in the peaceful rolling hills of Charente Maritime, among vines and sunflowers, we are only one hour from the beautiful city of Bordeaux and one hour from the Atlantic coast.
Pick up is available from Bordeaux airport (extra cost) which is just an hour's drive from the centre.
You will be the guests of Claude and Linda for all your meals but also have full cooking facilities available in your cottage.
Meals are vegetarian-based and where possible we will use our own vegetables, fruits and other local produce from the region.
Linda is a fully qualified and experienced nutritional therapist and will do her best to support your nutritional needs.
For this particular retreat, our yoga classes will take place in the garden room and/or around the pool.
The garden room is an indoor/outdoor space with a panoramic view of the rolling hills below.
As we are located in the South West of France you can expect warm, sunny weather without the extreme temperatures that come in the height of summer. Average temperatures are usually around 25 degrees Celsius in September. The pool will be open every day for your enjoyment and relaxation.
